Unit 5

I have found myself getting a little confused on the assignment for this weeks discussion board. I was always use to doing the outline at this point and that isn't required for this project. we are to do prewriting strategies for our thesis statement and 4 key points. I am starting to do my project little by little so that I can make sure that I get everything that I need in order to have a solid paper. I am however, feel a bit over whelmed and always get this way around thins time because I have another final piece due in my other class as well and I do not want to get the two mixed up with all of the information that I have. If anyone have some helpful suggestions on how I can organize the two I would appreciate the advice.

  1. I would love to know any suggestions for juggling two papers, not mixing them and getting it all done in time. I also have another paper due at the same time as this class. It is a bit overwhelming. Unit 6's discussion of thepost draft outline has me a bit confussed and scared to say the least. Having the paper done in time to get the outline in is so much! I am getting even more frightened thinking about it. I am sure it will all come to gether for both of us and hopefully in the nick of time.

  2. Me too, its gets a a little confusing, but keep your head up and stay focused on the prize at the end. In tome it does get easier, a little bit. LOL. I have been researching my paper and not getting anywhere with it. The Kaplan library does not have the greatest resources for my paper, so I'm forced to use outside sources. Good luck on your term paper.

  3. Make a schedule for study time. Alocate these slots of time for each indivual class. Don't combine each class in your sessions.

Also don't feel overwhelmed, instead dig your heels in and think positive. Once you get overwhelmed, procrastination can set in.

I did an outline anyway, because like you I felt this was the time to do it. Writing can be very difficult. You have to read up on your topic and do a lot of brainstorming. If at night you think of something, write it down. When you are writing you have to keep your subject on your mind all the time until you can flow it.

I don't know what your other class is but when you use your allocated time to study do just that. Make notes and outline that course too if you think it will help.

Just don't wait til the last minute. Put the strongest effort in now. What you don't understand ask somebody and now is the time.

I know you will succeed in you final projects if you try.
